Welcome to the Bushcamp!!!

The Bushcamp is situated in the beautiful lowland palm-rivine rainforest of Finch Hatton Gorge in the Pioneer Valley outside Mackay, Qld, just 2km from Eungella National Park.

The Bushcamp was established 18 years ago as a campsite with a single hut, and has now grown to offer three timber-slab huts, the Bus-camp, well equipped kitchen/ galley, & dining hut, small bush bar (BYO) to lean on, firepit, and nature library.

The camping area includes, flush toilets, gorgeous rainforest showers, picnic and dining areas and two firepits.

There is a crystal-clear Platypus viewing pool and a huge rock swimming pool.

You can lie in bed from the huts and watch platypus play, spot birds and other wildlife, or enjoy swimming in pristine waterholes.

At night you can sit back by the campfire amidst the trees, or make damper and billy-tea by the soft flicker of a kerosene lamp.

This is Eco-tourism to the MAX!!!

There is no hustle and bustle, no television, power or mod-cons. Instead, the sounds of civilization are soon forgotten as you listen to the music of nature all around you; the bubbling creek, the calls of birds, and the chirping chorus of cicadas, frogs and crickets. This is the Real Deal!
